I was amused by MAPS’ Ai & Me, a snarky AI therapist or fortune teller that uses computer vision to make mean judgements about your personality and motivations, and then advise you on what to do. Then the therapist dreams and creates a psychedelic portrait much in the vein of the earlier wave of generative AI. This carnival-game use of AI was mostly fun because of the social aspect of being with others who eagerly await the machine’s output and laugh at its shortcomings.
